TREBJESA - park forest, the lungs of the city, one of the most visited Niksic picnic sites. It is located only a few hundred meters from the city center and attracts a great number of athletes, recreationists, tourists, young people and people in the third age who want peace and clean air. By the decision of Municipal Council of Niksic, in 2000 Trebjesa was declared a protected natural good – Natural Monument. At the foot of Trebjesa hill there are terrains for various sports activities. The mountain biking trail on Trebjesa, in a circular shape, 5.8km long, with its beauty and arrangement, is an ideal place for organizing various competitions and sporting events.
KRUPAC - Niksic's Sea is the largest and most beautiful continental bathing center in Montenegro, only 5km away from the city. In the summer months the water temperature reaches 28º, the insolation is around 11p.m, which provides excellent conditions for swimming and water sports. A city beach is made which swarms with the bathers in the summer. The Krupac lake is rich in fish and has developed sport fishing. The hospitable hosts do not charge for the deckchairs and parasols so the ones who come early will enjoy under the parasoles instead under the thick shade of perennial plants. A modern beach volleyball court dares you to try out this increasingly popular activity.
SLANO LAKE is located in the southwestern part of the Niksic field. The coastline is rugged, with a lot of islands and peninsulas, and the waters of the lake are incredibly clean and clear. You will be charmed by the wild beauty of the lake and unspoiled nature, which surrounds it with the abundance of plant and animal species. The salt lake is easily accessible, but it is not equipped with infrastructure. After Skadar Lake, it is the biggest bird habitat in Montenegro. Out of all the points on the world tourist map, the British automobile giant JAGUAR marked Slano lake near Niksic in 2016 with its steep, rugged terrain and wild nature around the lake, to test Jaguar's first terrain vehicle F-pace.
Kapetanovo Lake is located at 1678AMSL, north-east of Niksic, on the border with the municipality of Kolasin. The lake is rich in fish. Considering the altitude on which it is located, this area is also a kind of health resort. From this point there are numerous hiking tours in the surrounding mountains, and scenes of untouched nature are a sight for sore eyes and an opportunity for everyone to enjoy this incredible corner of the Montenegrin mountains.
Grahovo Lake is located in the southwestern part of Niksic municipality in the village of Grahovo. This little lake has ideal natural conditions - water, sun and surrounding lush vegetation. It's incredibly beautiful, a paradise for campers and all lovers of nature. History admirers will like the image of the Church of the Holy Salvation which is reflected in the clear waters of Lake Grahovo.

Bilećko Lake with its smaller part, 17.2%, belongs to the municipality of Niksic. It is part of the natural border with the municipality of Bileca. Lake water is clean and warm, so it is used for swimming, diving and fishing. Above the lake shores is the most important archaeological site Crvena stijena.
Liverovići Lake is a lake in the Gracanica valley, 5.5 km from the eastern circumference of the Niksic Field. Fishing is developed on the lake, and pleasant summers and clean water allow bathing and swimming. Beach gear is placed on the shore which is used by a large number of picnickers.
Zeta River is the main river of the Niksic Field and the Bjelopavlovici Plain. The main stream of the river forms in Gornje polje from a number of springs and two rivers: Susica and Rastovac. In the Niksic Fileld Zeta is an underground river. Zeta has developed fishing, and along the coast there are many catering facilities.

Gornjepoljski Vir Estavelle – natural monument, hydrographic specificity, largest in the Dinarides. The diameter of it is 94m and the depth is 96m. Estavelle functions alternately as a spring in the period of heavy precipitation and as a sink in the summer period. Beach gear is placed on the edge of the estavela and it is an ideal place to rest. It is still scientifically explored.

King Nikola's Hunting Grounds - Morakovo is part of the Zupa, Niksic, located in the basin, enclosed by the "guards", the mountains, located east of Niksic. It is distinguished by the great wealth of flora and fauna, endemic plant species, diverse forest communities, important cultural and historical monuments, the opportunity to engage in sports in nature, enjoying the rural way of life, ethno heritage and organic foods. In recent times, several bicycle and hiking trails have been marked in this area, households have been arranged for provision of tourist services, info boards have been set up to promote cultural heritage.
Eco park Blace is located next to the main road Podgorica - Pluzine in the Studenicke hills area, with special geographical and natural features. Within the Eco Park, info boards are installed, necessary gear, a circular path for a walk of 450m is marked, and this place is recommended for resting on the road and enjoyment in nature.
MANITOVAC - oasis of peace, located on the bank of the river Zeta, 1.5km from the city center on the main road Niksic-Trebinje. The once-famous Niksic bathing spot, today it is a 15,000 m² of green carpet with a mini-zoo, a cafe built in accordance with nature, covered with straw, which with its arrangement as an ambiental whole leaves a strong impression on the visitor.
VUčJE - ski center, sports - tourism complex, located 20 km from the city, at 1300AMSL. The center is equipped with tourist and sports infrastructure. Ideal for all activities in nature. In winter covered with white covers with 4 ski slopes, slopes for sleds, board, snowshoes; in summer, magically green, covered with costmary flowers with hiking trails, cyclists and recreationalists trails. Ski Center organizes many events in the winter and summer period.

Arboretum – the Botanical Garden of the Kovacevic family is the first protected natural unit and has the status of a natural monument. Represents a unique horticultural whole with about 127 indigenous and allochthonous tress, bushes and clambering plants.

Lukavica Plateau with the mountains Small and Big Zurim occupies the northeastern part of the municipality of Niksic. The area is of exceptional natural beauty, with 365 springs, pedestrian and national cycling TT3 trails, traditional summer pastures where organic food is produced in rural households. Vojnik Mountain is located in the northwestern part of the Niksic municipality, part of the dominant mountain wreath Golija-Vojnik-Maganik-Zijovo, which divides the geographical area of Montenegro into two geographically and climatically different areas. Vojnik mountain is the largest source of oxygen for the Niksic municipality. On the first of May, a large number of mountaineers and nature lovers visit the highest peak of 1998AMSL.

The VIA FERATA ORLINA near Slano Lake is a new tourist attraction in Niksic for all lovers of adrenaline sports and nature.
